Small Thought.    TAKE A NUMBER A SIT DOWN PLEASE.
This special diplomatic, refined request prevents mayhem, chaos, disorders in the public, government, commercial, interlude....bodies.
But unfortunately, it is misconstrued and becomes dangerous in hospitals
and especially in the emergencies.
When a person comes up in a deplorable condition, instead of being received
and treated at once, they ask him (her) to take a number and to wait in the waiting room.
They leave him (her) for hours, flanked on an uncomfortable chair until a
well-meaning soul accepts to look at its file.
It is an unbearable, frustrating, disappointing situation.
Let us hope that one day, they will find a more effective and more humanitarian
solution and especially, that the patients will be received by affectionate people and not by insensible, distant people.   Viva
